Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar conducted ‘mahasatsangs’, pujas, meditation programmes, knowledge sessions and meetings in the city from November 22 to 25.
Ravi Shankar will also addressed more than one lakh farmers in the state, apart from talking to over ten thousand ‘Yuvacharyas’ – volunteers of the youth leadership training programme – who work for the uplift of those in the rural areas. More than 10 lakh people are expected to attend the public gatherings across the state.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar was on a ‘Diwali special Gujarat tour’, addressing lakhs of people from diverse backgrounds. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar recently drew a crowd of more than 1.5 lakh people in Argentina, all of whom were inspired by the tenets of non-violence and the creation of a stress-free world.
The workshops in Maharashtra aimed to further Ravi Shankar’s efforts in promoting harmony for all. ‘Mahasatsangs’ and pujas conducted as part of the tour in Pune were free for all.
